Dear Dr. Tamme,
My girlfriend is a complete slob! She looks hot
and takes good care of herself but her apartment
and car are disgusting . Should I just call it quits?

Dear Cameron,
If you plan to live with her one day then you may
have a problem. Some people see no need in keeping
certain parts of their life neat and tidy. It is all they
can do just keeping themselves on track. Our brains
are all wired differently and what seems important to some
may mean absolutely nothing to others .
You can call it "quits" or you can call the cleaning
service. It may drive you absolutely nuts to live
with a "slob" or you can have a little chat with yourself
and decide what really matters to you.............her
lack of neatness or HER. Tough one. Maybe not.
